IN HER OWN WORDS: I discovered my interest in Art at a young age. Early in my childhood I started entertaining myself  by drawing small sketches and caricatures. They became popular and were collected among friends and family. Being encouraged, I gravitated to portraiture and figurative art.

 

I grew up influenced by Art of Nineteenth and early Twentieth Centuries and I utilize the traditional method and techniques. At the same time, by drawing inspiration from the world around me, I try to achieve a contemporary feel in my work. My goal is truthfully depicting the inner beauty and emotional nuances of my subject matter. What intrigues me the most is uniqueness, emotions, and harmony I see in the faces and scenes around me.
